One of the core missions of paleBLUEdot is to assist local governments, community organizations, and businesses in understanding and improving their climate resilience through climate planning.
Climate planning includes both climate mitigation as well as climate adaptation. “mitigation” refers to the practice of reducing greenhouse gases, while “adaptation” refers to anticipating and taking action to reduce the adverse consequences of climate change, including those relating to natural hazards risks.
